PulsBooks ("we", "our", "the app") is a QuickBooks Online integration that automates invoice-level class assignment based on shipping address data. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

2. Information We Collect

When you connect your QuickBooks Online company to our app, we access the following data through the QuickBooks API:

• Company information (company name, realm ID)
• Invoice data (shipping addresses, class assignments)
• Customer data (shipping addresses for fallback resolution)
• Class list (for mapping rules)

We also store OAuth tokens (access and refresh tokens) required to maintain the connection to your QuickBooks account.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used exclusively to:

• Determine the correct class assignment for invoices based on shipping location
• Automatically update invoice-level ClassRef in QuickBooks Online
• Maintain your authenticated connection to QuickBooks

We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any third parties.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on a secure server hosted by Hetzner Cloud (Hillsboro, OR, USA). OAuth tokens are stored in an encrypted database. All connections use HTTPS/TLS encryption.

5. Data Retention

We retain your connection data (OAuth tokens and class mapping rules) for as long as your QuickBooks company is connected to our app. When you disconnect, your data is removed.

6. Your Rights

You can disconnect your QuickBooks company at any time, which will remove all stored data associated with your company. You may also request data deletion by contacting us.
